It is common for older drains to become affected by ingrowing roots which can block or crack drains resulting in poor drainage and even flooding. Even if the drain has been jetted out previously, because the tree roots are attracted to water sources they will inevitably grow back and make their way into cracks in the drain pipe system.
Root intrusion
Root removal cutting equipment that is powered using a high pressured water jet is used to remove the root, restoring the drain to it’s full capacity. Where a drain is badly cracked and the problem is likely to reoccur we can advise whether a drain liner might be a good long term solution to the problem. Both root removal and drain lining can be undertaken without the need for costly excavations, and frequently drainage problems caused by roots will be covered by home insurance, meaning we can work directly with your insurer to get the problem resolved quickly and effectively without costing the earth.
